Stanley has three churches. Christ Church Cathedral situated on the Front Road, St. Mary's Catholic Church on Ross Road and The Nonconformist United Free Church, The Tabernacle, also on the Front Road.
Christianity is predominant (67.2%) but there are other faiths, including Bahá'i and Jehovah's Witnesses.
